Glad your puppies are feeling better. We’ve had similar experiences with vets and balancing costs that seem outrageous against wanting to provide the best care. (fortunately we escaped the chocolate dance!) The side-eye from the vet implying that we are bad pet parents for not agreeing to every test/treatment fills me with guilt. Bah.

Great pic although not conducive to finishing homework or blogging. She loves you.

Yeah, that’s a good way of putting it. I guess the only possible reason that the new year would make a difference is if I was marking things on a calendar, because then there would be the pressure of not messing up that particular page or whatever. Because I do get like that – I throw out planners when something really messy happened or I missed a deadline fourteen times, and start new ones with the ‘real’ deadline built in. However, I’m not doing that, so Jan 1st – wev.

Hooray for graduation this year! Also happy pre-birthday!

I also don’t make resolutions. Mostly because pledging to do something on the first day of a new year doesn’t make it particularly more likely that I will do it than on any other year.
