I’m sorry to tell you this, but you can’t be sick.

You’ve done really really well this year – you haven’t been sick since February (that you remember), and I know that when you get all stressed your immune system starts to wear down, and that you’re pretty stressed now.

I also know that you spent several hours hanging out in the hospital yesterday, and that there are germs there.

You don’t feel good, but probably it’s all in your head.

You don’t have time for this.

But on the upside, according to my very scientific method of tracking it (searching my own blog for the word ‘sick’), this is the first time I’ve been sick since February.

That was THREE MONTHS ago.

As I’ve mentioned before, my immune system’s prophylactic equivalent would have to be an old, holey, lambskin condom. Considering that, I’m calling this a win. Last year I probably didn’t make it more than six weeks, so my ‘don’t get sick’ New Year’s Resolution seems to be having an effect.

Yay me.

I sooooo wish I were kidding. This is why there has been very little blogging.

Also, clearly those resolutions are pretty much bunk, huh?
